Owners of electric vehicles (EVs) have access to a variety of funding sources for low-emission vehicles.

Home-charging Program for Electric Vehicles (EVHS)

The installation of EV charging stations is funded by the EVHS programme. Any person who has purchased a new or used EV since October 2016 is eligible for EVHS, which offers assistance in excess of 70% toward the cost of installing EV charge-points at residential premises throughout the UK.

Workplace Charging Program (WCS)

Using vouchers, the WCS programme contributes £350 toward the upfront expenses of buying and installing an EV charge-point. A company may request finance for up to 40 charge points.
